Who is Mother Earth?
The Mother Earth project started in 2001 as a neighborhood effort to provide a service that was previously unavailable in the area. Mother Earth picks up recycling once per month or 12 times per year. Mother Earth picks up recycling once a month per customer. Depending on where you live, pick ups will be either the 2nd weekend or the 4th weekend of every month, unless that weekend falls on a holiday. We have, and will continue to do our best, to keep the cost to you at a bare minimum of $10 per pick up. This helps us cover the cost of vehicle maintenance and fuel.
We provide bins to you as part of your fee. Mother Earth collects an unsorted collection of and plastics, glass bottles, and steel and aluminum cans. We also collect newspapers in a separate bin.
As part of our service, we remind you of the pick up via phone call or email that week, so you don't forget.
