The bin with a lid is for newspapers. The blue bins without a lid with the Mother Earth logo are for mixed materials. If there are extra materials, please place them in tied garbage bags or secure boxes that can be taken.
The mixed container bins
- Please rinse all containers and discard all caps, lids or pumps
- For glass, we accept food and beverage bottles and jars (clear, brown or green), with foil wrappers removed
- All aluminum and steel cans must be emptied
- We accept clean, rinsed aluminum and tin foil, food and pie plates
- We accept only plastic bottles; the neck opening will be smaller than the base of the container
- Please flatten what you are able to for more space in your bins
The newspaper bin
- Recycle the entire newspaper, including ads and inserts
- Stack newspapers loose in the bin without bags, strings or rubber bands
- Please keep newspapers dry (use the lid or stack another bin on top)
